Finally!! I thought I'd never finish....

I was reminded of how much I liked TFs when I was little after seeing the 2007 movie, and felt like making myself a TF plush.
So, who better to start with than Optimus Prime??
I have been working on this thing since Thanksgiving. It took me 4 tries to get the thing to look right.

The design is based off of *MattMoylan's Lil' Formers [link]
His drawings were so cute, I used them as an inspiration for the doll.

Optimus Plush is approx 12" tall. He is jointed at the legs, arms, waist, and head -- so he can be posed.

Transformers & TF Characters belong to Hasbro & respective holders.
Plush design inspired/referenced from *MattMoylan
Plush pattern & plush made by me. This plush is part of my personal collection. It is NOT for sale.

That is absolutely AMAZING! Oh my gosh, I wanted to make a Bumblebee but I have no idea how to go about that kind of patterning. XD

Just incredible, he looks so huggable. ^^ Waaaay better than the reversible ones in the stores.

Thank you :)
^^; The pattern took forever to do (I spent most of Thanksgiving weekend just designing the pattern -- whilst everyone else was out shopping) XD
Lots & lots & lots & lots & lots of blank paper, some rulers, pencils, erasers, a compass, even a protractor. It almost felt like taking Calculus all over again *cringes*
The body took me 2 tries, and the head a total of 4 tries (curse round objects).

Too bad this doll doesn't actually transform like Hasbro's version, but that's ok =P I've just about hugged this doll to death XD

^^; Yes, this doll did take me a while to do. A total of 88 fabric pieces went into making this squishy robot

I can't imagine the pattern working...I hate math, I'm always doing things trial-and-error. Sounds like you went through a bit of both though. ^^; He looks incredible though, you can see how much effort you put into him.

Bah yours is much nicer than the transforming ones anyway. XD They don't have near the amount of detail, and they're more like big zippered pillows.
